Hours of work: Full-time, Monday to Friday the role is based 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home either on a Monday or Friday.

Job Purpose:

  • To act as the Middle Office function within the Business Development team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To perform Middle Office Function within the Business Development Team including:
  • Co-ordinating CPs and any other requirements for drawdown
  • Managing limits
  • Keeping track for drawdown particulars, including insurance requirements, invoice assignments, and inventory releases
  • Ensuring all reporting requirements are up to date
  • Co-ordinating the sell down any transactions required to keep exposures within limits
  • Any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for drawdowns and repayments of loans.
  • Ensure that all information, including the Bank’s, is handled and managed in a strictly confidential manner.

Experience & Skills required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience banking experience including at least 3 years in trade finance operations and/or middle office.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written English.  Arabic speaker would be an advantage.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
