Hours of work: Full-time, Monday to Friday the role is based 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home either on a Monday or Friday.
Job Purpose: Administration of the loan portfolio (to include rate fixing, rollovers, drawdowns and repayments), preparation and review of the daily excess reports, management of safe custody, process agent letter requests, management of credit referrals and preparation/ review of monthly reports including the credit facilities report and suspense account reconciliation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake day-to-day debt serving activity of the loan portfolio – to include rollovers,
- rate fixing, drawdown, repayments, fees and covenant compliance.
- Ensure all Loans Administration and Credit files are maintained
- Monitor and ensure timely renewal of property valuations and insurance policies.
- Assist in the preparation and review of facility documentation
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports
- Maintain documents held in Safe Custody: lodging, despatching, reconciling (audit purposes) and archiving of security documents.
- Provision of desk cover as required by management, including (but not limited to): Preparation of the Egyptian Government and Egypt Country (net) exposure reports; Monitoring forwarded Rating Agency alerts (Fitch & Moody’s) for rating changes; Preparation of limit sheets and Completion of Credit Referrals
- Carry out additional duties as required by the management.
- Ensure that the Bank’s policies and procedures, together with other regulatory guidelines are always adhered to
Experience & Skills required:
- Solid experience of credit and loans administration
- Recent experience in and working knowledge of Flexcube
- Familiar with Primary and Secondary market loan closing
- Team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Methodical, accurate, ability to work in and react positively to pressure
- Confident, motivated, taking ownership of allocated tasks
- Awareness of the regulatory/compliance environment.
- Desire to learn and develop
